Day 1: Agadir – Tamri – Banana Plantations – Moulay Abdellah Dam

Your culinary journey begins with departure from Agadir toward the coastal village of Tamri. Travel through picturesque villages and enjoy beautiful Atlantic and mountain panoramas along the way.

Arrive in Tamri and visit local banana plantations, where you will discover the organic cultivation of the famous Tamri bananas. Learn how this fertile coastal area benefits from its mild climate and traditional agricultural practices.

Enjoy lunch at a local inn with a typical menu including Harira soup, fish tagine, and dessert. In the afternoon, continue toward the Moulay Abdellah Dam, passing through mountain villages and rural landscapes.

Take part in a sustainable fishing activity at the dam lake and learn more about the area’s local fishing practices. Return to Tamri in the evening for dinner featuring local ingredients, including seafood, vegetables, and Tamri bananas.

After breakfast, leave Tamri and travel through the Tamri River valley toward Aksri, Ighalen, and the mountain landscapes of the Western High Atlas.

Continue to Paradise Valley, where you will enjoy a gentle walk through green scenery, natural pools, palm trees, and mountain formations. This peaceful valley is one of the most beautiful natural areas near Agadir.

Lunch will be served at a traditional guesthouse in Inraren, with a typical Moroccan menu prepared using local ingredients.

In the afternoon, visit the village of Alma and discover the Talayte women’s artistic cooperative. Continue to Aglagal to meet women producers at the Aguerd cooperative, where you will learn about argan oil extraction and taste local products such as amlou.

Arrive at Atlas Kasbah Ecolodge for dinner and overnight. Depending on the evening program, enjoy a Berber cultural evening or an astronomy experience under the clear Moroccan sky.

After breakfast, discover Atlas Kasbah Ecolodge and its permaculture garden. Learn how sustainable agriculture, local plants, and traditional farming practices are used in the region.

Take part in a Moroccan mint tea ceremony before joining a hands-on cooking workshop. Learn how to prepare traditional dishes using fresh local ingredients, such as vegetable briouates and a Moroccan tagine.

After the cooking experience, continue toward Sidi Rbat, a peaceful coastal village near the Massa region. Check in at your accommodation and enjoy time to relax near the coast.

Dinner will feature local seafood and regional specialties, including vegetable soup, grilled fish, and orange with cinnamon.

After breakfast, enjoy a walk from Sidi Rbat to Benzarne and the mouth of the Massa River. Discover the local birdwatching route and the rich natural environment of the Massa estuary, an important area for migratory birds and native wildlife.

Enjoy a traditional lunch with a local host at the Oued Massa area. The menu may include Moroccan tomato salad, Massa mussel couscous, and Berkouks prepared with products from local cooperatives.

In the afternoon, travel through the villages and green agricultural landscapes of the Massa Valley toward Sidi Wassay. Continue to Jouaber to visit a women’s mountain goat cooperative.

Meet local producers, learn about traditional goat cheese production, and taste different varieties of regional cheese. Later, return to Agadir through the Souss-Massa plain.
